Do you have a treadmill, exercise bike, or some other exercise machine kicking around your house that isn’t being used?
If you do, here are a few things you can do to get back on them.
- Turn your exercise room or area into a fun place with bright colors. Paint the walls, add some fun floor mats, or put up some funky curtains.
- Have some music nearby to put some umph into your workout. Walk, run, jog or bike to the beat of some upbeat tunes.
- Have some pictures of your thinner self taped to your machine, or some slim celebrity that inspires you.
- Write down your goals or inspirational messages to keep your eye on while you workout.
- Wear some fun workout clothes that you feel good in and don’t hinder your workout. Baggy pants and shirts can get in the way.
- Reward yourself with a pampering bubble bath and candles afterwards.
- Have someone to hold you accountable and encourage you to workout regularly.
- Invite someone to be your workout buddy and you can exercise together.
There are plenty of ways to spice up your workout area. The important thing is to do what you can to make sure you’re using it. You don’t want to let all that money you paid for it go to waste!
