How you can avoid the sweets, even if you have a sweet tooth

If you have trouble staying away from empty calories like sweets, then it’s time to start checking the stats.

Next time you reach for a candy bar, read the nutritional information.

How many calories does it have? How many grams of fat and sugar? How many carbohydrates? And I’ll bet there aren’t very many vitamins or minerals listed (if any).

Seeing these numbers can actually help you stay away from foods you shouldn’t be eating. It works for me, and I’m sure it will work for you.

Losing weight is all about educating yourself about nutrition and physical exercise. I can’t stress enough about how important it is to know what you’re putting inside your body.

By reading the ‘nutritional’ information on the back of your favorite candy bar or other sweets, it will help you to think twice about eating it and hopefully will make you want to switch to something healthier.
