If you’re in need of a good shot of potassium, then have I got something for you!
My latest snack of choice are banana and kiwi sandwiches. No, not with bread. You just slice up two kiwis and one banana, then make a sandwich with one slice of kiwi in between two slices of banana. Very tasty!
I haven’t eaten a plain kiwifruit since I was in grade 3. Some kid in my class brought some and I had a bite. I didn’t like it at all. Plus the hairy brown skin never appealed to me. It looks a bit like…well I won’t say it.
But the other week I decided to try it again. I bought a bag and tried it and loved it! I’m sorry that I missed out all these years.
Those little suckers are packed with lots of goodies, like Vitamin C, fiber and arse-kicking antioxidants. In fact, it’s one of the most nutrient-dense fruits ounce for ounce. You’ll get even more nutrients if you leave the skin on, but I think I’ll just stick to the green stuff.
Like the kiwi, the banana is also abundant with vitamins and minerals. So when you put the two together, you get a tasty concoction of goodness. Now instead of having a bag of chips or a chocolate bar for a snack, try some banana and kiwi sandwiches.

This is a great idea. I’m always in need of potassium, and when the potassium is in the lowest level, nothing will seem tasty but I think this combination will work perfectly.
Well this is perfect for you then because kiwis have lots of potassium in them. Tasty tasty potassium!
