Losing weight can be a fun adventure. I know it might sound corny, but if you treat it like one, it won’t be as hard to reach your weight loss goal. It should be a positive and rewarding experience to ensure that you are successful in losing weight.
You can do this by setting small realistic milestones for yourself to reach. The first one can be losing 2 lbs (or 5 lbs – whatever you want). Once that goal is reached, reward yourself. A reward can be anything from buying yourself a new shirt, getting a manicure, taking yourself to a movie….anything that you wouldn’t normally do for yourself. Just as long as it isn’t a huge box of chocolates! It can even be something as simple as having a relaxing bath with candles and a glass of wine.
By setting these small goals and rewarding yourself each time you reach them, you’re encouraging yourself to keep trucking along.
