One of the easiest ways for me to get my cardiovascular exercise is to jump on my treadmill and pound rubber. I always listen to music while I’m on there or I don’t last that long. Without some kind of rhythm to keep me moving, I end up concentrating on how much time has passed or how tired I am and I just want to quit and get off.
That’s why I always put on my “treadmill tunes” before I start. I get lost in the music and walk or run to the beat and completely lose track of time. Instead of concentrating on how many more calories I have to burn, I just enjoy the music.
I’ve compiled a list of some of the songs that I like exercising to. Please don’t laugh at my weird taste in music.
