Have Your Ice Cream and Eat It Too

If you’re on a low-carb diet but you love ice cream, you can still treat yourself to your favorite dessert.

Look for a low-carb and sugar-free ice cream. You have to read the label closely to tell if it really is low-carb. Some manufacturers cut back on sugar and label their ice cream low-carb when it really isn’t.

Low-carb ice creams don’t contain low-fat or fat-free milk. The label should say whole milk or cream. The carb count should also be less than 5 per serving. A good choice would be Atkins Endulge. Even without the sugar, it still tastes great.
