Hi Karen,

I also had a c-section and I find that pouch extremely difficult as do the majority of women post-surgery. In my experience, the best remedy for that is to get LOTS of cardio to burn any extra fat in your abdomen, and also eat a very healthy low-fat diet. If you're already doing these things, maybe it's time to re-examine your workout routine and diet. Chances are there may still be room for improvement.

It sounds like you have the body type where you aren't allowed any cheat days in your diet or days off from your workouts. I feel for you. I'm the same way.

In reality though, you have to accept yourself the way you are and love yourself. Even though that sounds a bit corny, it's true and it will change your life if you can manage it. Nobody's perfect and a little c-section pouch never killed anyone. I've still got a bit of a pouch going on and I've learned to accept it. I'm much happier for it too.

Good luck!

I hear ya! My daughter just turned 2 and my son is 3 months old. It's tough to find time for yourself while being a busy mom.

Shame on anybody who say's you're lazy. Just keep hanging in there and don't give up. There's lots of things to do around the house to burn a few extra calories. Sometimes you just have to get creative, like using your baby as weights!

Take care,

My son is almost 4 months now and i'm still about 15 lbs overweight. Its nice to hear that it takes time to lose it. So many ppl think that i should have lost it already and they say i'm just lazy. But its hard with a 2 yr old and a 4 mon old. I stay active around the house but I cant go walk, or swim, or anything else to help out now. I live in the sticks!
