Create Your Own Healthy Smoothie

There are endless variations for smoothie recipes, but if you’re looking for something quick with ingredients you have on hand, it’s easy to come up with your own low-fat smoothie recipe in 5 minutes.

1 cup fruit juice (or skim milk to make it creamier)
1 cup fat-free plain or flavored yogurt
1 cup of your favorite fresh fruit
1 banana to add more thickness and flavor
Ice can also be added to reach desired consistency

Blend all your ingredients in a blender for about one minute. You can double up the recipe and freeze overnight for a quick breakfast and snack the next day.
