Don’t Waste Fruits and Vegetables

Do you come home from the grocery store only to store all your fruits and veggies away in drawers and storage bins? If you’re like me, out of sight means out of mind. I’ve wasted many a bag of carrots and grapes because I forgot they were in the fridge.

Instead of putting them away as soon as you get home, wash and cut them so they’re ready to eat whenever you want. Keep them in a clear container in the fridge so you can see what it is. Or leave fruit in a bowl on the counter or table.

You’ll find it’s a lot easier to get your daily servings by having your fruits and vegetables easily accessible. If you have kids, it’s also a great way to get them to eat healthier without nagging them.
