DietPower Review
“Can DietPower help you lose weight, or is it just another empty promise?”
If you want to know exactly how (or if) DietPower can help you lose weight, then you must read what Cassie has to say about it.
Title: “DietPower”
Rating: 4.5 out of 5
Website: DietPower
Let me start off by giving you an overview about what DietPower is. This is basically a software that records and tracks what you eat and drink, and how many calories you’ve burned through exercise. It sounds simple, but its really so much more than just that.
There are so many features to DietPower, it would be pretty hard to list them all. So I’ll list my favorite ones for you.
Calorie Counter - Once you enter the foods you’ve eaten into the Food Log, you’ll have a total number of calories displayed for you as well as how many you’re allowed for the rest of the day. If you don’t eat the maximum amount of calories you’re allowed, that number will go into the ‘calorie bank’. Not only is this a calorie counter, but DietPower also tracks 33 vitamins and minerals and will give you a ‘rating’ of how healthy you eat each day. It’s important to balance your nutrients because they all work with each other to make your body efficient at burning fat.
Waterminder - I’ve stressed numerous times on my blog how important it is to drink enough water, especially when trying to lose weight. DietPower makes it easy to calculate how much water you’ve had, including the water found in food and beverages. You’ll also receive an alert any time you are behind in your daily quota.
Metabolic Rate Monitor - This program is smart. Diet Power monitors your true metabolic rate by comparing your weight changes with the foods you’ve eaten and the exercise you’ve logged. Anytime there are changes, it adjusts your metabolic rate accordingly.
Goal Setter - One key part of weight loss success is setting a realistic goal. With DietPower’s Goal Setter, you’ll know whether your goals are healthy and obtainable in the amount of time you choose.
Recipe Analyzer - DietPower has a list of healthy recipes in its arsenal, but you can also quickly create your own recipes using the foods in the Food Guide. You’ll instantly be able to see the nutritional value of each recipe you create and save it to your Food Dictionary.
Exercise Log - It’s important to get daily exercise to burn fat and calories, but sometimes you have no idea how many calories you’re really burning. DietPower has a list of nearly 1000 activities including their ‘burn rates’ so you know approximately how many calories you’ve burned in comparison to the calories you’ve consumed.
Visual Graphs - DietPower puts all your information into charts and graphs to make your progress easy to visualize. I’m a very ‘visual’ person so this is a very helpful factor in my success.
There are so many more features to this program that you just have to check it out. It doesn’t matter if you’re already on a diet program, because DietPower works with any of them, including Weight Watchers, Atkins and Jenny Craig.
The only negative thing I can say about this program is that it can’t read my mind and log my food for me!
